We are looking for a Digital Implementation Analyst (known internally as a Web Analyst) to join our Data Analytics team.

The role
As a Digital Implementation Analyst you will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance and optimisation of tracking across Next’s Apps and Websites. Embedded within the Marketing Data and Insight team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our current tagging infrastructure to ensure Next has accurate and consistent tracking across Web and App platforms. Coupled with this, you will be involved in all aspects of Server-side tracking and development within GA4 and Marketing. So what does this mean day-to-day for you?
1. Proven experience using Tag Management Tools (Google Tag Manager and/or Tealium), to independently implement tracking solutions from a variety of vendors across multiple platforms.
2. Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) in an e-commerce environment events/metrics and customer journeys, applying amendments to tracking where applicable, whilst also identifying opportunities to improve.
3. Server-side implementation (SGTM), with the understanding of various third-party technologies.
4. Ability to translate stakeholder requirements into technical tracking/datalayer specifications for Web/App.
5. Experienced implementing Analytics tools (e.g. GA4), CRM (e.g. Exponea) and Marketing tracking (Affiliate, Bing, Meta, Tik-tok, SA360, DV360 etc)
6. Regular review of on-site tagging, whilst reviewing internal documentation shared across the wider business.
7. Experienced in using Web and App Debugging tools (browser plugins/packet inspectors) to diagnose issues.
8. Supporting Web/Data Analysts in pinpointing key issues across internal reports to ensure accuracy.
9. Ability to translate measurement briefs into implementation requirements.
10. Ability to communicate changes and requirements effectively.
