Role and Responsibilities: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN, adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning styles.
* Assisting the class teacher in creating and implementing tailored learning plans.
* Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Supporting students with their personal care needs if required.
* Monitoring and recording students' progress and contributing to progress reviews.
* Participating in training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential)
* A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach to working with students.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Basic knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions.
* A commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the school community.
