My client is located in central London and is a respected international economic survey organisation. They have over 30 years of experience in serving their clients and provide country specific forecasts and topical analysis. They also provide specialised publications on foreign exchange forecasts and energy, metals and agriculture price forecasts. Job Role: This role would be ideally suited to someone who has already had some substantial post-graduate work experience within publishing and country economic analysis. You will have been working within economics research and be keen to build upon your skill base in a new company. You will be working for a well-established publishing firm and you will be involved in research and report writing to strict publication deadlines as well as having the chance to lead and manage a team of more junior staff members where appropriate. This role will be based out of the company's offices in central London You will have a good grounding in Macroeconomics. Your written ability will be excellent, having had some experience of writing clearly for a non-specialist audience before. Any interest you have in data development would be an added bonus, and any skills in Excel or economic programming software would be great, but not essential. As an executive in a small, self-reliant company, the successful candidate will have an opportunity to become involved in broader issues such as relations with the press and panellists, new product development and management. The position will command a competitive employment package.
