Job Role - Chef Manager
Rate of pay: £36,000-£38,000
Hours: 07:00-15:00 Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities
1. Serving 30 - 130 people on site, with fluctuating numbers during project ramp ups and downs.
2. The food offering includes breakfast and lunch, along with a grab-and-go deli selection.
3. There are two kitchens, with only one in regular operation. The other opens for key events, where the workforce can be split at the kitchen manager's discretion to help manage the workload.
4. Contribute to the creation of new food menus by designing innovative grazing and sharing platters that align with seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
5. Supervise the preparation and presentation of grazing platters and sharing plates, ensuring they are visually appealing and meet quality standards.
6. Ensure all dishes, particularly shared platters, are consistently prepared with the highest quality, maintaining flavour, texture, and presentation.
7. Lead and support kitchen staff to ensure efficient preparation and timely service of platters, delegating tasks and ensuring smooth coordination during busy service periods.
8. Oversee stock for grazing platters, ensuring fresh, seasonal ingredients are sourced and available while maintaining budget control.
