Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Hampshire based role (2sites) Circa £40,000 plus benefits Monday - Friday 0730-1630 Working for a manufacturer of products linked to agriculture across the globe, they have sites across Europe, Australia, North America & Africa and have huge plans over the next decade. Job role / duties •Create and implement a preventative maintenance schedule to cover all equipment •Liaise with machinery suppliers to carry out scheduled maintenance •Maintain the asset register for equipment on site •Provide guidance and recommendations to the Production Manager with regards to new equipment and working practices •Work with the Health and Safety Manager to ensure plant is safe and complies with appropriate regulations •Review all new machinery proposed and work with the HS, Production Manager to ensure new equipment is fit for purpose •Training staff in the appropriate use of factory machinery in line with staff development programmes. •Mentor and Develop Apprentice. •Actioning of routine maintenance of all plant and machinery, •Assisting with modifications and improvements to any plant and machinery. •Identification and suggestions about actions to maintain/improve machine/plant performance, •Identifying potentially hazardous developments as machines are used, •Routine housekeeping, •Fabrication and build maintenance. •Issue and control permits •Arrange PAT testing, Fire Alarm Maintenance, insurance inspections etc. To be considered for this role you must: •Be a BTEC/HNC apprentice or have equivalent training in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering •Possess 17/18th edition regs •Have worked in an FMCG environment •Possess experience in fault finding from hydraulic & pneumatic schematics •Experience in PLC fault finding, diagnostics & programming would be an advantage This role is UK based and does NOT have sponsorship opportunity Our process is barrier free and we will ensure you are carefully considered for the role you have applied for.
