The Marketing Manager (PPC) will lead the strategic planning, implementation, and optimisation of client Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns to maximise return on investment (ROI) and contribute to the overall success of our digital marketing efforts. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in managing high-performing paid campaigns across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
* Develop and execute a comprehensive PPC strategy aligned with overall marketing goals.
* Identify growth opportunities, set campaign objectives, and define KPIs for paid media efforts.
* Analyse industry trends and competitor activity to inform PPC strategy.
Campaign Management
* Create, manage, and optimise PPC campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and social media advertising (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram).
* Perform keyword research, audience segmentation, and A/B testing to enhance campaign performance.
* Manage campaign budgets effectively, ensuring maximum ROI while meeting key performance indicators.
* Develop compelling ad copy and creative assets in collaboration with content and design teams.
Data Analysis & Reporting
* Monitor, track, and report on campaign performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Data Studio).
* Generate actionable insights and provide recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness.
* Present performance updates and strategy refinements to internal stakeholders and clients.
* Collaborate with SEO, content, and design teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated marketing approach.
* Act as the primary point of contact for PPC-related queries and updates.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in managing PPC campaigns with measurable success.
* Strong proficiency in platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Meta Ads Manager.
* Solid understanding of bid management, conversion tracking, and performance metrics.
* Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Data Studio, and SEMrush.
* Experience in audience targeting and remarketing strategies.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Experience with programmatic advertising and display networks.
* Familiarity with CRM platforms, email platforms, and marketing automation tools.
