Job summary We are hoping to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic support worker to our friendly Community Respiratory Team. This is a permanent full time post (37.5 hours) to be worked Monday to Friday. The role will involve supporting the TB nurses in a clinic setting. You will also be expected to support the Physios to undertake the Pulmonary Rehab Groups and the Nursing Staff to do Home Oxygen Safety Visits. We are a Multidisciplinary Team with Nurses, Physios and an Occupation Therapist providing excellent care across the Leigh, Ashton and Wigan Borough. Essential qualification - NVQ 2 in Health & Social Care from a recognised training provider or NHS accredited Care Certificate. We cannot accept certificates from short online courses as these are not NVQs. As the post involves travelling to clinics and patient homes, access to a vehicle with business insurance is essential.
