We’re looking for a Procurement Administrator to join our team in Kings Hill, UK on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
The Procurement Administrator position will directly support the Westfalia Procurement team across the UK and International. You will handle key administrative tasks including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and organizing travel. Alongside the administrative tasks you will also gather a wider exposure into the procurement process, including maintaining supplier records, delivering detailed procurement reports, analysing data and coordinating with the wider UK and European teams. You will provide essential support to ensuring the effective delivery of Westfalia’s procurement deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Reporting: Working with procurement leadership to pull data from reporting systems for analysis and clean up. You will need to then help maintain procurement reports for accuracy and consistency, conducting regular data analysis to support decision-making within the procurement function.
Coordination: Coordinate with procurement teams across Europe and the UK to ensure seamless operations and collaboration.
Admin support: Provide general administrative support to the overall International procurement department, with a strong emphasis on the Director of Procurement. This will include basics such as diary management, booking flights, and general admin support.
Supplier Contracts: Assist in managing and organizing supplier contracts, ensuring all records are up to date. Facilitate communication and connections within our organisation, particularly in the Netherlands.
Requirements
* An introduction to the fresh produce industry is beneficial
* Prior experience in an administrative role is essential
* Prior experience in Procurement or Supply Chain is desirable
* A strong interest in developing a career within Procurement
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
