Senior Project Manager Annual Salary: £37,850 to £43,250 with a potential review in Jan Location: York Job Type: Full-time, 6 month Contact or Permanent role available Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours flexitime Industry: Consultancy Business/Creative We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join one of our top clients in the York area. This role is ideal for a highly successful project manager who is used to juggling multiple projects. You will be responsible for delivering high-value projects and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring excellence and consistency across the board. Day-to-day of the role: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, providing regular status updates to stakeholders. Lead and manage multiple accounts, delivering projects from brief to completion. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to define project scopes, estimate budgets and timelines, plan resources, and delegate tasks. Continuously manage project scopes, identify risks, and coordinate project teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery. Maintain up-to-date billing plans and communicate any financial risks or changes promptly. Mentor junior team members and support their development. Utilise tools like Gantt charts for effective project management and timeline tracking. Participate in brainstorms and meetings for major projects, influencing decision-making with articulate scenarios. Required Skills & Qualifications: Must be based near the York area to be considered as you will be required 2/3 days a week in the office. Experience within the consultancy/creative industry would be highly desirable but not essential. Minimum of two years’ experience as a Senior Project Manager. Proven ability to manage time, budgets, and deliver projects with excellence. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues. Experience with Gantt charts and timeline management in Excel. Familiarity with Trello or similar PM platforms and experience working in an Agile environment.
