Job Title: Nurse - Nights
Location: Edwinstowe, Mansfield
Salary: £23.79 per hour
Hours: Part Time - 2-3 shifts per week (7pm-7am), includes some weekends
Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nurse - Nights to join a well-established care home in Edwinstowe, Mansfield. The home provides high-quality personal, nursing, and dementia care to residents and offers a warm and homely environment, with various garden areas to enjoy. This role involves working alongside the Home Manager, Clinical Lead, and other trained nurses to deliver exceptional care, with a strong emphasis on promoting independence, dignity, and choice for all residents.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work with the Home Manager and Clinical Lead to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for residents, ensuring the highest standards of care are always delivered.
2. Administer medication and keep accurate records.
3. Support carers in providing personal care and daily activities such as washing, dressing, and eating.
4. Lead care teams, ensuring care plans are regularly updated and action plans are completed.
5. Ensure safety and well-being, including preventing pressure sores, weight issues, and falls.
Essential Requirements:
1. A relevant professional qualification (e.g., RGN, RMN, RNLD).
2. Minimum of one year’s experience in a residential/nursing home, including dementia care.
3. Awareness of Person-Centred Care and adult safeguarding.
4. Full driving licence and ability to commute within 30 minutes of the home.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Two years’ experience in a similar role.
2. Experience in supervising team members.
3. Experience as a Senior in Health or Social Care.
