Contract: Permanent, Part-time and full-time hours available
Location: Home based, fully remote (must reside in and have right to work in the UK)
Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience
SUMMARY
Has gained qualification or demonstrable experience within Occupational Health. Undertaking clinical activities including vaccinations, phlebotomy, questionnaire screening and medical assessments in relation to health surveillance and fitness to work medicals but is developing competency with case management skills.
MAIN OBJECTIVES
1. Practice within the scope of the NMC professional practice and Code of Conduct and to work according to qualification, experience and competency.
2. To ensure clinical standards of best practice are followed and company policies and procedures are adhered to.
3. To fully utilise company IT systems in the performance of duties.
4. To undertake health surveillance/medicals/health promotion activities as required.
5. The delivery of the Occupational Health Service to Medigold clients and to ensure that the provision of the occupational health advice is at all times of the highest standard.
6. Undertake clinical supervision/peer audit in relation to case management in a level 1 role.
7. To act as an ambassador and promote the Occupational Health services available.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
1. To provide professional occupational health case management advice for our clients expediting an early return to work for absent employees.
2. Provide and maintain appropriate advice on health issues, health promotion and health education to employers and employees.
3. Work autonomously and as part of the Medigold Health multi-disciplinary team to ensure that a satisfactory level of service is provided to all clients and their employees achieving current service level agreements.
4. Undertake Health Surveillance, including vaccinations and phlebotomy as required.
5. Practice within the scope of the NMC professional practice and Code of Conduct and to work according to qualification, experience, and competency.
6. Ensure that CPD and other training needs are undertaken to ensure compliance with NMC requirement for continuing registration. Maintain evidence in support of Revalidation.
7. Ensure that one is familiar with the requirements of all appropriate client contracts and Aide Memoirs.
8. Maintain, store and handle medical records in accordance with Medigold-Health Data Protection Policy and GDPR requirements in order to preserve and respect client and employee medical confidentiality.
9. Liaise with other service teams regarding both client and patient queries.
10. Complete all clinical administration in accordance with Medigold-Health policies and procedures and to ensure that activities are completed within agreed timescales and Service level agreements.
11. To participate in Clinical Audit activities as required.

7. Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
8. Maintaining registration and NMC revalidation.
9. To comply with Data Protection Legislation and Information Security requirements, such as ISO 27001.
10. To ensure commitment to impartiality, confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of information.
11. Adhering to policy, procedure, regulatory, customer and standard requirements relating to quality, information security and environmental management systems.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE
1. RN Qualification
2. Occupational Health degree/diploma & NMC registration.
3. Demonstrable equivalent experience within Occupational Health departments.
4. Experience of attending, presenting, and hosting client Wellness and health promotion days.
5. Trained to undertake all clinical services including health surveillance, fitness to work medicals, vaccinations and phlebotomy.
6. Extending experience, skills and competency with case management activities undertaking increasing complexity of referrals.
