Research Fellow in Demolition Waste Remediation
Are you a researcher looking for your first challenge? Do you have a background in construction waste remediation? Do you want to further your career in one of the UK’s leading research-intensive universities?
The overarching aim of this project is to enable the safe, sustainable, and swift reconstruction of Ukraine working with international partners across academia, business, and non-governmental organisations. This post involves assessing the impact of war debris in urban spaces and providing solutions for remediation. The ideal candidate will be experienced in environmental engineering, experimental analyses, managing and analysing data, as well as writing scientific/technical publications and reports. You will contribute to the University’s commitment to producing research and innovation outcomes that will drive economic growth in a sustainable and responsible manner.
This role will be based on the University campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
