About the role
We are seeking to recruit a Civil Enforcement Officers responsible for enforcing parking regulations in the Special Parking Areas and Controlled Parking Zones of the borough. The role involves serving as ambassadors for Haringey Council, fostering positive relations with the public, and representing the Council in a professional manner. Duties include on-street enforcement actions and issuing Penalty Charge Notices, with a commitment to performing enforcement duties in compliance with established standards, requirements, and protocols.

About you
We are seeking an experienced Civil Enforcement Officer with extensive expertise in applying relevant legislation, regulations, procedures, and guidance to identify parking infringements and carry out appropriate enforcement actions. The ideal candidate should possesses a sound understanding of health and safety requirements at the workplace, demonstrating a commitment to ensuring the well-being of both team members and operations.
Your role will involve actively contributing to the enhancement of the Parking Enforcement Section's services, aiming for excellent customer satisfaction. This includes providing support, both on and off-street, to ensure that the required level of parking enforcement action is consistently carried out between 7 am and 1 am, seven days a week.
Qualifications for this position include a Level 2 NVQ in Parking Enforcement and relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in the field.
