Contract Finance Lead Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Contract Finance Lead to join our dedicated finance team within the NHS.

Role Scope: Full-Time Hours: This is a full-time position with a standard workweek of 37.5 hours.

Key Responsibilities: Lead on financial management for specific contracts, including budgeting, forecasting & reporting.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to align financial plans with organisational goals.
Provision of contract performance reporting, including key performance issues and risks.
Provide effective interpretation, trend analysis and comparative information.
Offer expert financial guidance to support contract negotiations and agreement process, including contract terms, payment mechanism and performance measures.
Ensure robust financial governance and compliance with NHS regulations.
Identify and implement cost improvement opportunities to drive efficiency.
About you: Educated to a master’s level or demonstrating equivalent experience in a healthcare or related field.
Evidence of continuing professional development.
Extensive experience of working within financial management, gained within the NHS.
Experience of successful planning and negotiation of large healthcare contracts.
Experience of contract management across multiple contracts.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to inform strategic decisions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
A solid understanding of the health and social care landscape.
