MISSION / SUMMARY:
The responsibilities encompass Health Safety & Environmental administration and regulatory document management. You will undertake a variety of administrative tasks and assist the HSE Manager in day to day duties deputising as necessary.
JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include, but are not limited to the following.
* Support the HSE Manager and the Senior management team in developing and maintaining a positive Health, Safety & Environmental culture
* Conduct HSE inductions for new starters and agency workers
* Support the HSE Manager in conducting Risk Assessments
* Management of the COSHH database
* Ensure all legislative requirements are adhered to and compliance of environmental permits, consents and current legislation
* Audit and assist with the maintenance of ISO45001, ISO14001
* Conduct Audits and spot checks to confirm service delivery by both direct employees and sub-contractors are of the required standard
* Conduct HSE training as required
* Collation and reporting of HSE data
* Maintain the First Aid register, ensure the first aid rooms are adequately stocked
* Maintain the Fire register, including fire risk assessments
Skills/ Quals:
* Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organisation and influencing skills
* Excellent IT Skills in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Team Player, committed to providing a service ethos
* Experience in a similar role desirable
* Experience in FMCG desirable
* Internal Auditor ISO 45001 & 14001 desirable
* Understanding of Legionella, COSHH and Risk Assessments
* NEBOSH and IEMA essential
* Driving license essential
