We are hiring for a Team Leader to join the team. If you have worked caring for Adults or Children but are now looking for progression, we would love to hear from you!
This role has a starting salary of £26,000 per annum based on a 40-hour week and you'll also earn through sleep-ins (£45 for a weekday sleep-in and £50 at the weekend). Additional overtime is available should you wish to do more shifts.
About the role
You will join our home in Tadley (commutable transport links from Basingstoke) supporting Children with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs. You will be a positive role model for the children within Amegreen Children’s Services, offering care and support to the children, providing structure, consistency, and nurturing as part of day-to-day living, always ensuring the safety of each child.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the Registered Manager in the supervision and support of the staff with their tasks.
2. Reviewing documents including casework files and risk management.
3. Organising the rota.
4. Assisting the children with their daily routines and ensuring the day-to-day running of the home is clean, tidy, and organised.
There will be great days where you will laugh, play games, and bring joy to the children, but there will be times where the children may shout, swear, and cry. By listening to them, guiding, and offering comfort during challenging times, you will find this role really rewarding.

Our independent children’s homes are rated as Outstanding by Ofsted and provide therapeutic care to children between the ages of 5 and 18 who are unable to live with their families.
