Description Athena is the flagship Markets proprietary Trade and Risk management platform. Athena as a platform is used extensively in JPM CIB Markets and beyond. As a Product Manager in the Markets Technology – Athena, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that deliver to our stakeholders. As a leader on the team, you leverage your experience to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire our teams to deliver solutions for our stakeholders. You will be accountable for driving our technical vision, strategy, measurable outcomes, and roadmaps for Athena platform’s distributed compute and orchestration capability in partnership with our engineering leadership. You will be responsible for stakeholder engagement, articulating business value and prioritizing the work accordingly. Job responsibilities Partners with engineering leadership to define a product vision and strategy that delivers value to stakeholders Does market research to uncover stakeholder solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap Engages with the stakeholders across asset classes in Markets and JPMC-wide to understand their demands for near and longer term Owns, develops and maintains a product roadmap, product backlog and order of priority Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability Is responsible for stakeholder communication and satisfaction Required qualifications, capabilities and skills Several years of experience using, building or interacting with distributed compute services, APIs and solutions in Markets Technology Ability to define functional and non-functional requirements, and facilitate solution designs for distributed compute solutions and job orchestration engines Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management Technical experience with Python or an Object Oriented Language Experience as a servant leader in a product-led and agile environment Excellent presentation written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex and diverse organization with a high-degree of adaptability and a continuous learning mindset ABOUT US J.P.
