To assist the qualified nurses in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. To give basic nursing care, e.g.; assistance with personal hygiene, eating and drinking, mobility needs, washing under direct or indirect supervision. Monitor patients observations and vital signs including fluid balance To report accurately perceived changes in a patients manner, observation, eating habits etc. To promote health within the ward setting. Organises own day to day work tasks or activities under supervision of qualified staff Able to respond to the changing needs of patients and ward routines.
