Job Title: PPC Executive Reporting to: Head of Paid Search Location: Wolverhampton The PPC Manager will be responsible for the planning, execution, optimisation, and reporting of paid search campaigns across multiple platforms for a variety of clients. This role requires the management of campaigns that drive performance, ROI, and meet client KPIs, ensuring high standards of service delivery. The PPC Manager will report directly to the Head of Paid Search and work closely with other team members, including designers and content specialists, to deliver integrated digital marketing strategies. Key Responsibilities: Campaign Management: Take ownership of paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other platforms, ensuring each campaign is well-managed and optimised for client objectives. Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance (CPC, CTR, CPA, ROAS, etc.), identifying key trends and providing actionable insights to clients and the internal team. Keyword Research & Optimisation: Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for campaign growth and improve targeting accuracy. Continuously optimise campaigns through adjustments to bids, keywords, and targeting parameters. Testing & Campaign Refinement: Plan and execute A/B testing for ads, landing pages, and other elements to improve campaign performance. Implement learnings from testing to enhance the overall effectiveness of campaigns. Budget Management: Oversee budget allocation, ensuring efficient spend across campaigns and delivering on client ROI expectations. Industry Knowledge: Stay current on PPC trends, tools, and best practices to continually improve performance and offer innovative solutions to clients. New Business & Strategy Development: Support the creation of PPC strategies for new business pitches and proposals, identifying key opportunities for growth and improvement for potential clients. Skills & Experience: Proven experience in managing PPC campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Bing Ads, and social media advertising (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights. Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other PPC tools. Deep understanding of PPC strategies, including bid management, keyword research, and campaign optimisation. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to ensure integrated digital marketing campaigns. Previous agency experience is preferred. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Campaign performance metrics (CPC, CTR, CPA, ROAS, etc.) are met or exceeded. Timeliness and quality of campaign reporting. Client satisfaction and retention through effective communication and campaign results. Successful collaboration with internal teams to deliver client objectives. This is a key role within the team that requires a high level of autonomy and accountability. The PPC Manager will be expected to proactively manage campaigns, maintain client relationships, and work efficiently to achieve both client and business objectives.
