Jackson Hogg is exclusively supporting a manufacturing organisation on the appointment of a Financial Controller. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations. This includes financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance, ensuring that the business remains financially healthy and fully compliant with relevant regulations. You will work closely with the senior management team to provide strategic financial insight and support the company’s growth ambitions. Based in Stockton with Hybrid Working. Responsibilities: Oversee all financial operations, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. Prepare and analyze financial statements for multiple companies, including LLPs. Monitor financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Manage cash flow, bank accounts, and ensure efficient treasury operations. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, VAT returns, corporation tax, and audits. Lead and develop a small finance team, implementing efficient financial processes. Provide strategic financial support to senior management and operational teams. Support business growth through financial planning and cost-benefit analysis. Experience Required: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification with post-qualification experience. Strong background in financial management within manufacturing or automotive sectors. Expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Advanced financial analysis skills with the ability to present complex data clearly. Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Sage) and strong Excel capabilities. Proven leadership experience in managing and developing finance teams. Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
