The role will be responsible for all Treasury Front Office activity - implementing funding, hedging, and investment strategies and contributing to their evolution as the organisation matures.
As our Senior Manager – Treasury Front Office, you will be leading an experienced team through a period of change which supports strategic growth ambitions through increased use of market data and analytical decision-making within a strong control environment.

2. Manage the execution of external funding and capital requirements of the Society.
3. Oversee the execution of derivative deals and investment decisions, providing management support for the senior dealer as required.
4. Manage external relationships with rating agencies and banks and monitor market and economic developments, ensuring they are translated into key business implications.
5. Drive increased sophistication in risk and reward evaluation, ensuring both are quantified and articulated as you contribute to the development of strategies to add value and protect earnings.
What we are looking for:
1. Subject matter expert on markets/economics.
2. The ability to lead economics forum, planning and stress testing scenario design.
3. Proactive management and hedging of the Society’s interest rate risk exposures in line with policy and risk appetite.
4. Maintain appropriate facilities to enable execution of the Society’s contingency funding strategy and ensure periodic testing is completed.
5. Impact-assess regulatory changes and ensure compliance with relevant regulation.
6. Maintain Investor Relations via regular results presentations and report publication.
7. Manage banking, legal, and rating agency relationships.
