Job summary Working as part of a small and dedicated team based at Elmhurst Intermediate Care Centre in Winsford, part of the Estates & Facilities Division at Leighton Hospital, Crewe. The Catering Supervisor's role is to efficiently plan and maintain a high standard of meals for the 30 bedded in patient unit at Elmhurst. Main duties of the job Preparation of hot meals and snacks for inpatients at Elmhurst. Ordering of food provisions and thorough cleaning of the kitchen and stock rooms. To maintain cleaning schedules with the Hazard Analysis criteria, monitor and rectify where necessary. Ensure departmental staff timesheets are produced in a timely manner and forwarded on appropriately. To report and document all faults, risks and maintenance issues to relevant people. To process all orders via Integra and Logistics on line systems. To organise systems to check supplies coming into the catering department and process documentation and invoices accordingly. To ensure al COSHH policies are adhered to and reported on. To ensure all infection control policies are met throughout the department. To report any deficiency in Health & Safety systems to the operational management. To co-operate fully with training for Health & Safety purposes.
