We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Bar Supervisor to join our team at Wolverhampton Racecourse.
Wolverhampton Racecourse is one of Britain’s busiest racecourses, hosting nearly 100 horse racing fixtures across the year, as well as music events. It is one of the biggest all-weather racecourses and has transformed the face of racing.
Responsibilities:
1. Serve customers efficiently, professionally, and courteously at all times.
2. Ensure guests receive the highest standard of customer service.
3. Supervise bar staff to ensure effective and fast service.
4. Carry out opening and closing till procedures according to company policy.
5. Work in accordance with guidelines set by both the racecourse and the BHA.
6. Promote a welcoming and happy atmosphere within the venue.
7. Work independently or as part of a team, ensuring guests' needs are met to the highest standard.
8. Maintain stock levels and rotation to avoid waste and assist with stocktaking.
9. Ensure the work area is stocked with glassware, ice, condiments, and other supplies according to business needs.
10. Serve guests efficiently, maintaining knowledge of food and beverage service, and carry out cleaning duties as required.
11. Keep work and public areas clean and tidy, paying attention to health and safety and COSHH guidelines.
12. Accurately keep temperature records and other relevant paperwork.
13. Follow all licensing policies and procedures.
14. Handle stock and equipment securely.
15. Act as an information point for customers.
16. Record wastage and dispose of rubbish according to venue procedures and recycling initiatives.
17. Adhere to company policies and undertake other duties as needed.
