Main duties of the job Perform high quality ultrasound examinations using analytical and judgement skills to interpret complex images. Formulate comprehensive, diagnostic, independently written reports for each examination Communicate distressing and unwelcome/unexpected news directly to patients using tact, empathy and diplomacy. Communicate complex information regarding diagnosis/treatment directly to clinicians and patients. Maintain personal clinical expertise in ultrasound scanning including ongoing CPD Review, update and maintain the patients' clinical records.
