Relief Support Workers
£12.00 per hour
Ark Forres supports people of various ages from early twenties to late seventies. The majority of our supported individuals live independently in their own homes, often in accommodation with their own flats, communal gardens, and lounge areas. We also provide outreach services for those with various health conditions and/or learning disabilities. Support varies from 5 hours a week to 24 hours a day, promoting independence and a person-centered approach. Additionally, we support individuals living at home with their parents. Due to the nature of our support, shift patterns are extremely variable.
Your main duties will include but are not limited to:
* Working with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
* Communicating and working well with our supported individuals to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
* Being responsible for supporting individuals throughout activities, providing positive feedback and encouragement.

What is a Relief Support Worker?
As a Relief Support Worker, you will carry out all the same duties while on shift as our Support Workers. This role offers flexibility to pick up shifts as it suits you.
*Please note: Relief work is on an as-and-when basis to cover for sickness absence, study leave, and other staff contingencies. Regular or continued use cannot be guaranteed as the need for relief staffing changes over time.
