Solutions Architect
Liverpool (Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office)
Technology is evolving, and so is the way businesses build applications. This charitable organisation is looking for a Solutions Architect, someone who can design and implement scalable low-code solutions that help simplify complex processes.
We’re working exclusively with an organisation that helps charities make a real difference across the UK. Their goal is to enhance efficiency through automation, and low-code technology is central to their digital transformation strategy.
What You’ll Be Doing
Designing and Developing Low-Code Solutions:
1. Build applications using Appian, Mendix, OutSystems, or Microsoft Power Apps.
2. Define workflows, data models, and user interfaces that align with business needs.
3. Implement integrations with databases, APIs, and finance systems.
4. Set and maintain best practice standards for low-code development.
5. Troubleshoot and optimise applications for performance, security, and scalability.
Working with Stakeholders:
1. Collaborate with teams to understand business challenges and translate them into technical solutions.
2. Present solution designs and prototypes to ensure alignment with objectives.
3. Manage expectations and guide non-technical stakeholders through the development process.
Driving Innovation and Strategy:
1. Stay informed about new features and trends in low-code development.
2. Identify opportunities to improve existing systems through automation.
3. Ensure solutions align with the organisation’s IT strategy and long-term goals.
What We’re Looking For
The Essentials:
1. 2+ years’ experience working with a low-code platform (Appian, Mendix, OutSystems, or PowerApps).
2. Strong understanding of workflows, process automation, and UI/UX design.
3. Experience with API integrations, database management, and application security.
4. The ability to analyse business problems and design practical, efficient solutions.
5. Comfortable working in small teams, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
The Bonus Points:
1. Certifications in low-code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert).
2. Experience with project management methodologies (PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum).
