The Adelphi Theatre is thrilled to be hosting the cutting-edgeexperience that is Back to the Future, The Musical. We are currentlyrecruiting for a Production Technician (Stage).
Inthis exciting role, you will be part of a team who will deliver the technicalrequirements on Back to the Future, the Musical. Working with a diverseand multi-skilled team, you will provide the highest standard of customerexperience to our resident production and break new ground in our industry.
What you’ll be doing…
- Working on all shows and all technical rehearsals of Back To The Future aspart of the Stage department responsible for the setting and management ofscenery and props.
- As part of the Production Technician team, you will be prepping the show inadvance each day and helping to conduct safety checks.
- Working closely with your own team, the visiting company and its StageManagement to ensure the smooth and safe operation of each show. Thesafety of everyone backstage, on stage and in the audience is paramount.
- Problem solving during live performances.
- Conducting maintenance on the set and other technical aspects of the show, soit always looks its best.
- Ad hoc project work as directed by the Heads of Department.
- Manual handling and work at height/ on ladders is necessary in this role andtraining will be provided.

- Technical theatre experience from another West End or number one touringvenue is desirable, as is an understanding of theatre health and safety.

Salary: Above SOLT/ BECTU: £ for a 40 hourweek, supplemented by a discretionary performance bonus payment of 3 hours perweek pro rata and a £33 Special Technical Requirements payment, pro rata.
