We have a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Network Engineer to join us at our unique Head Office in Renfrew, which includes our state-of-the-art gym with weekly circuit training, a personal trainer and yoga classes as well as the Beeks Bar or weekly masseuse to help you unwind!
About the Role
The Graduate Network Engineer troubleshoots and resolves routine and complex network, hardware, and operating system issues in a timely manner while maintaining a 99.99% uptime rate for all systems. Given the global nature of our business, our engineers work in a rotating shift pattern offering 24/7 support to our customers.
As a Graduate Network Engineer, you can expect to improve and advance in service software as well as the development and deployment of new applications.
Some of your duties include:
* Monitor internal and production systems and escalating/paging L2 Engineers.
* Work incidents effectively and efficiently and engage Engineering, Support, QA, and other personnel in accordance with established processes and procedures.
* Document problem descriptions and provide detailed problem diagnosis with accuracy and in compliance with established practices.
* Review and update the status of problems in trouble-ticketing system.
* Assist in maintaining Operations documentation including support guides, knowledge base articles, and procedures.
* Participate in the transfer of information from one shift to the next.

Qualifications and Experience:
* This is an entry level role - you will be required to demonstrate technical knowledge acquired by academic qualifications (a degree in Networking or related subject).
