Job description: Vacancy - Group Project Controls Manager Are you excited by the opportunity to support a wide range of projects at all stages of the development life cycle, from Pre-Construction through to Procurement, Construction and Handover? Are you excited by the opportunity to lead and develop a centralised reporting structure and process for all Group Projects? We are seeking a Project Controls Manager to join our team at the Port of Liverpool, and help us keep the world moving Your Role In this role you will lead the department on the application of specific Project Controls methods, techniques and tools. You will work closely with Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers to ensure projects accurately report their current progress, spend, and changes in period against approved project baseline. You will advise on and communicate analysis and corrective measures effectively, taking a lead role on creating plans and analysing trends using numerical and statistical data. You will check project controls inputs, recoding and reports produced, acting as the subject matter expert and staying up to date with key industry trends. What you'll bring You will ideally have previous experience working within the construction industry as either client, main contractor or specialist contractor. You will have excellent analytical skills with the ability to work with large sets of statistical and numerical data. With previous experience of SAP, and other finance software, you will have strong report writing skills. With a good knowledge of the various stages of the project life cycle along with an understanding of project estimating, change control and risk management and proficient use of Microsoft Office, you will have demonstrable experience of compiling monthly Project Reports.
