About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for a well-organised and resilient individual to join the busy and dynamic Children and Family Services Business Support Team as a SENA Support Worker Co-Ordinator, working with the busy SEN Assessment teams. The role is part of the wider Business Support Service and as such an important part of this role is to provide back up to colleagues, across service areas and to assist in handling urgent work on a day-to-day basis.

Main duties and responsibilities:
* To be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of business support services both administrative and secretarial functions. Utilising good organisational skills to co-ordinate local and statutory requirements.
* To create, develop and maintain information systems and processes including Microsoft Office packages to produce reports.
* To undertake a range of financial routines, including p-card arrangements and monitor budgets associated with service requirements.
* To be first point of contact for enquiries from schools, partners, voluntary and community organisations, agencies and members of the public, including generic inbox management on a daily basis and to communicate effectively.
* To line manage staff, including supervision, and Annual Performance Review meetings.
* To be able to follow written processes and guidance provided.
* To be able to prioritise your own workload and work as part of a team.
About You
To apply for this post, you must:
* Have recognised academic qualifications e.g. 'GCSE', 'A' Levels, Vocational Qualification, Professional/Further Education Qualification relevant to the area. NVQ 2 in Business Administration or equivalent. Or equivalent level of relevant experience.
* Possess good computer skills, including MS Word, Excel and Access.
* Exhibit good organisational skills.
* Demonstrate excellent customer care skills and a full understanding of the need to maintain confidentiality.
* Be able to produce accurate work to deadlines, including notes of meetings, reports and documents.
* Have the ability to establish and maintain working relationships and communicate effectively with staff at all levels. Experience of supervising staff is not essential but useful.
* Have the ability to prioritise own workload and work under minimum supervision, with a flexible approach.
