ABOUT THE SERVICE MANAGER ROLE
We are looking for a Service Manager to join our team. This is a key leadership role where you will provide care and support to people experiencing homelessness and multiple disadvantages. You will work in a supportive and understanding environment, focusing on each persons individual needs and goals. This role is perfect for someone who is determined, takes pride in their work, and is able to motivate a diverse team.
We are particularly keen to encourage applications from individuals currently in deputy or senior roles who are looking to take the next step in their career. If youre ready to step up and lead a team, this is an excellent opportunity to grow and make a real impact.
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 5:00. Onsite face to face service. With flexibility around these hours required. All managers, including this position will take part in the out of hours on call duty.
Salary: £36,700
What are we looking for Service Manager?
Supporting individuals in their recovery journey
Helping people learn new skills and build confidence
Working closely with other teams and organisations to ensure the right support is provided
Leading and motivating a team to deliver high-quality care and support
Managing complex situations and driving service improvements
IT Proficiency, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to navigate and learn new case management systems and other types of organisational software
We need a Service Manager who:
Has strong leadership skills and can inspire and motivate a team. While youll have support from management, this role requires someone who can take ownership and lead with confidence
Can drive the service forward and implement improvements
Is confident in managing complex situations and making decisions
Is ready to step up from a deputy manager role or similar experience to lead a team
Takes ownership of their work and leads with confidence
Can work at pace, use their initiative, make decisions, and be proactive in their approach
Has experience in homelessness, substance use, or a related field, with transferable skills that align with the challenges of this role
