Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:
PO Upload:
1. Monitor PO uploads and ensure that any failed POs are identified and flagged to the client and uploaded again once the failure has been corrected
2. Working towards set KPI’s in accordance to specific audits
Vendor Bookings:
3. Assist clients to ensure that all vendors book their shipments no later than by LFDD-9
4. Check weekly for any un-booked Po’s that are 1 month past the Latest Ex Factory Date and liaise with merchandisers to discuss the next steps from this point
Approvals
5. Daily checks in the afternoon for any approvals that are still on the report after 48 hours
6. Anything more than 1 week old and without explanatory comments should be escalated to the key client contact and notify senior management
Status reports and general data quality
7. Chase origins for missing Cargo Received dates if ETD is in the past
8. Compare ETA with ETD and email the origins if anything looks wrong
9. Generally try to find fault and chase origins to correct. Escalate to management if problems remain ongoing
KPI reports
10. Assist in the production of monthly KPI reports and attend KPI review meeting
SCS Account Management
11. General responsibility to provide excellent support and encouragement to SCS clients
Operational
12. Use of Internal Freight Management System, VBO, Microsoft Packages (Word/Excel/Outlook) & Telephone
13. Supporting the Branch Managers to introduce measures to improve operational efficiency.
14. Prioritising of workload in accordance with deadlines & SOP
Customer Service
15. Query Resolution – to resolve any operational queries from both customers & suppliers in a timely & efficient manner
16. Reviewing customers specific SOP’s on an ongoing basis to ensure they are fit for purpose and for compliance
17. Reviewing internal operational procedures on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance
The Candidate:
18. At least 1 year freight forwarding experience.
19. Degree level qualified
20. Strong problem solving/customer service skills
21. Effective communication skills – both written and verbal
22. Excellent organisation and time management skills
23. A desire to pursue a career within supply chain / logistics
