The role
Manchester Airport is growing and we are looking for a Motor Transport Parts Controller to join the team. As a Parts Controller you will be responsible for the efficient and timely procurement and accounting of all Motor Transport fast moving parts and third-party services to support operations. You will assist the motor transport workshop manager, scheduler and technicians produce estimates for customers, liaise daily with Manchester Airport’s stores department to track deliveries of parts to support the operation and maintain required stock levels of fast-moving parts and consumables for both internal and external customers whilst maintaining accurate records of all parts, part numbers and store locations.
What will make you successful in the role?
The successful candidate will have mechanical knowledge of vehicles (GSE would be an advantage). You’ll have excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills and be a strong communicator and team player. You’ll also be motivated and flexible to take on additional tasks to assist the company.
For this role it is essential that you currently hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points.
