Part-time: 21 hours per week Fixed-term: available from January 2025 for 24 months Location: Usher Institute, Usher Building, 5-7 Little France Road, Edinburgh BioQuarter - Gate 3, Edinburgh, EH16 4UX The Teaching Organisation at the Usher Institute within The University of Edinburgh is looking for a Teaching Fellow to contribute to the development of online teaching content, assessment marking and teaching support to participants studying the MSc in Leading Digital Transformation for Health and Care in Scotland. The Opportunity: The post holder will be required to liaise directly with both participants, academics and professional services staff in order to provide responsive and high-quality teaching and learning support. The post holder will also contribute to networking sessions by meeting and engaging with participants online or face-to-face to enhance the teaching and support experience for participants. This post is advertised as part-time (21 hours per week). We will also consider requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular (weekly) on-campus working. Your skills and attributes for success: Experience of teaching online. Ability to design and deliver course materials and assess participant performance. Knowledge of the health/social care/housing sector in Scotland/UK. Ability to communicate complex information clearly, orally and in writing. Experience of marking assessments.
