Are you an organised, friendly, and proactive individual looking for an exciting career opportunity? Castle Vets is seeking a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team. While prior veterinary experience isn't essential, strong reception and customer service skills are a must. This is a full-time permanent role
Working 40 hours per week with shifts being between 8:00am-7:00pm Monday to Friday. There will also be 1 Saturday morning in 4 from 8:00am-1:30pm.
What you will be doing
1. Providing a warm and professional welcome to clients and their pets
2. Managing reception duties, including phone calls, appointments, and inquiries
3. Cuddling pets - an essential part of the job
4. Processing insurance claims and pet health club memberships
5. Keeping records accurate and organised
6. Assisting the veterinary team and handling admin tasks away from the desk
7. Staying calm and compassionate in high-pressure situations
