London – Hybrid Working Available Up to £80,000 Package A new opportunity has arisen to join a global leader in defence and aerospace and work on the design and development of new infrastructure for naval platform management systems. Your work will be focused on both Operational Technology and Information Technology in a position well suited to an engineer with a background in both Industrial Control Systems and Infrastructure Engineering. The Role You will contribute to the integration of IT and OT systems and the management of particular IT assets within the development environment. The role will include managing and leading a small team and performing a range of duties from system administration, configuring and installing new security-related software to IT Asset Management and ensuring compliance. You will play a significant role in ensuring and maintaining alignment to ISO27001 (and IEC62443) as well as improving the security posture around relevant assets through advising on protection techniques, finding and managing vulnerabilities and enhancing network security. Requirements This role would suit an experienced, security-minded IT Infrastructure Engineer with knowledge of Linux, Windows Servers, Virtualisation (eg. VMWare, Hyper-V) and networking within highly regulated industries. Prior experience with ISO27001 or IEC62443 would be highly advantageous but engineers with a broad understanding of cyber security and vulnerability management would certainly be considered. ICS experience (incl. PLCs and SCADA) would also be highly beneficial but not essential. Location London office. Three days per week on site. Option to work a condensed fortnight.
