We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at The Oxford Collection; a recently refurbished, privately owned group of two luxury 5* hotels and three restaurants in central Oxford, consisting of the Old Bank Hotel, Old Parsonage Hotel, Parsonage Grill, Gees Restaurant & Bar, and Quod Restaurant & Bar.

Responsibilities of the role include:
* Follow the Maintenance calendar as directed by the Maintenance Manager, carry out all general tasks with the least possible impact on our guests
* General building repairs both internal and external
* Undertaking of essential planned preventative maintenance
* Responsible for all maintenance issues in the absence of the Maintenance Manager e.g. morning briefings, meeting the Head Housekeeper every morning and afternoon
* Carry out all scheduled cleaning/maintenance of air conditioning units, kitchen extractors, and filters as recommended by the contractor
* Perform all non-contractual maintenance requirements and supervise all approved external contractors
* Monitor and replenish stock levels of maintenance supplies and spares, approve all expenditures with the Maintenance Manager
* Inform the Maintenance Manager of outstanding works and those in progress at both premises on a weekly basis
* Working closely and reporting to the Maintenance Manager
* Undertake any additional works or carry out any other reasonable duty as requested and respond to all phone calls promptly, on or off duty
Maintenance Supervisor requirements:
* Self-motivated, driven, proactive, and positive “can do” attitude
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent people management skills
* Highly organised, with the ability to work under pressure
* Competent in a particular trade or be sufficiently multi-skilled
* To be able to demonstrate the ability to understand how a building works and is maintained
* A track record of trade experience or a high level of practical working and problem-solving
* Experience in working with tools and in a similar previous role would be beneficial
We offer an opportunity to earn up to £32,500 per annum, including non-contractual tronc (service charge), working 40 hours per week (Monday to Sunday rota with two days off each week). In addition, emergency call-out shifts are occasionally required.
