Healthcare Assistant – Cardiology Outpatient Department London – The Wellington Hospital – St Johns Wood NW8 9JG Hours: 37.5hrs (Monday to Friday Flexible shift pattern) Salary - Competitive Fantastic benefits We are seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our cardiology outpatient department at the prestigious The Wellington Hospital, which is currently rated "Good" by the CQC. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Cardiac physiology and administration Team in delivering high-quality care to our patients. Duties & responsibilities: Organize Cardiology non-Invasive Department workload including charging patients, chaperoning patients when required and dealing with all necessary paper works Ensuring smooth interactions with Consultants, Cardiac Physiologists, Nurses, and Administration staff. Responsibilities include addressing any customer issues, maintaining an optimal environment in Cardiology areas To assist in updating clinic lists, creating patient files, measuring basic clinical observations, setting up Holter and ambulatory blood pressure monitors and sending finalised reports to the consultants. To assist in maintaining the tidiness and cleanliness of the department and help with the maintenance of stock levels in all rooms e.g. linens and consumables etc. To be conversant with all local policies and procedures and to act accordingly. Ensure the safety of patients and staff and ensure that all incidents are reported to the Manager. Maintain your personal development with support from the departmental manager. Ensure that all equipment is used safely and effectively. Ability to interpret ECG’s is desirable but not essential At HCA UK we care about what you care about.
