2. Consult with senior stakeholders to understand their business needs and determine the best data/analytics approach.
3. Update existing documentation, including data catalogue and code libraries, sharing knowledge and continuously growing best practices.
4. Deliver value and impact to senior stakeholders, using excellent “storytelling” and visualisation techniques.
5. Co-lead the learning and development plans across our data community and mentor junior members.
Are we the perfect match?
1. Experience in the retail energy industry, familiar with market-wide half-hourly settlement.
2. Proven experience as a principal/senior data analyst, with at least 7 years in the field.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills and high levels of curiosity.
4. Advanced SQL and Python knowledge.
5. Experience working with cloud platforms, ideally DataBricks.
6. Experience with Git or similar, using branches and pull requests for collaborative development.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage non-technical audiences.
It would be great if you:
1. Have strong experience with visualisation tools, preferably Tableau.
2. Have exposure to advanced analytics techniques including modelling and segmentation.
3. Thrive in fast-paced environments with high levels of empowerment.
4. Are a team player focused on collaboration and communication.
5. Hold a Degree/Masters or equivalent in a relevant field, e.g., statistics, mathematics.
Here’s what else you need to know
