The Asset Management function within Altrad Babcock is a highly specialized engineering service and equipment provider supporting customers to minimize cost, maximize return and mitigate risk through their asset integrity lifecycle.
We are recruiting exceptional candidates to join our mission in becoming a fully certified Asset Management engineering services provider of both consultancy and integrated projects, across future global low carbon energy and infrastructure markets.
As a Structural Integrity Specialist, you will be responsible for a portfolio of projects and provide technical advice and guidance to a team of engineers at all levels. A key requirement of the role is to ensure a consistent high standard in the service provided to clients.
You will develop relationships with customers, which in turn will optimize the opportunities available and support the development of new business.
We are looking for a highly technical individual who can promote the capabilities of the function, while managing the commercial needs of the business and individual projects, developing and implementing industry-leading products and techniques.
With tools such as ANSYS Mechanical FEA and CFD, Hexagon CEASAR II, TWI CrackWise. Hexagon VVD & PV Elite and Bentley STAAD at your disposal, you will perform numerous duties, ranging from investigations into pipework & structural integrity problems and pipe stress analysis to ASME B31.X, to analyzing & quantifying damage mechanisms in plant components such as creep & fatigue and mentoring and providing technical leadership to junior engineers.
To succeed in this role, you will need a qualified mechanical engineering degree with a working knowledge of the tools used to assess problems in the field of structural integrity. Experience in office and site work is essential, ideally coming from a similar technical role within a relevant industry sector.
Candidates with knowledge of relevant industry standards such as API-579, BS7910, ASME B31.X, PD5500 etc will have a distinct advantage.

This role offers an estimated salary range of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
