Registered Veterinary Nurse - Berkshire

A well-renowned veterinary practice is currently looking for a Head Veterinary Nurse to join their experienced team at their surgery situated in a vibrant town in Berkshire that offers a harmonious blend of modern amenities and green spaces, making it an inviting place to work.
The surgery has recently been refurbished and offers a complete range of amenities to provide the highest standard of care with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment complemented by a beautiful garden area. Our client is part of a wider group and you will have easy access to a 24-hour centre and nearby practices that specialise in orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, dermatology, medicine, ultrasonography, dentistry, exotics, and ophthalmology.
You will become an integral part of an exceptional veterinary team, comprising of highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Surgeons who are complemented by a dedicated team of registered nurses, student nurses, welcoming receptionists, and efficient administrative staff, who all work together to provide exceptional care.
This role combines nursing tasks with team leadership and is suitable for a confident RVN looking to step up as a Head Nurse, or those with prior experience in the role. It requires clinical coaching skills or a willingness to become a Clinical Coach, as well as a commitment to support and develop Student Nurses, junior RVNs, and Care Assistants, all while leading by example.
Our client is looking for a registered veterinary nurse with a minimum of 2 years of clinical expertise, head nurse experience preferred but not obligatory. You must possess exceptional organisation, time management, leadership, and proactive qualities.

The Role:
Permanent, fulltime opportunity.
