Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior/Principal Safety QRA Consultant to join the London team. The team comprises diverse, highly talented and motivated experts who are trusted voices in tackling global transformations such as the decarbonisation of energy networks. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver technical solutions to client challenges using advanced consequence modelling, frequency analysis, reliability studies and Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) of major accident hazards for onshore and offshore projects. Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery within agreed timeframes, budgets and quality standards. Apply cutting-edge consequence and risk assessment tools and techniques (e.g., QRA, consequence analysis, numerical analysis) to support safety case development, risk curve generation, ALARP demonstration and other technical safety studies to meet legislative and regulatory obligations. Work across a diverse project portfolio, with a 50/50 split between traditional oil & gas and new energy projects. What you need to apply: Degree in Chemical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM discipline. Strong industrial experience in technical safety and risk assessment, particularly QRA. Exceptional numerical and analytical abilities with a proven capacity to tackle complex problems and develop actionable solutions. Hands-on expertise with tools like DNV’s PHAST / SAFETI, Shell Shepherd, or similar software for generating risk curves and conducting modern QRA studies.
