About the Role
Are you an experienced Estimator with a passion for securing new business and delivering high-quality service? We are looking for an Estimator to join our team, playing a key role in securing new Grounds Maintenance contracts and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and interpret tender specifications, developing base estimating models.
* Identify opportunities for competitive advantage and assess evaluation methodologies for each client.
* Conduct site visits, gathering insights to strengthen estimating models and enhance tender submissions.
* Present pricing models at meetings and continuously refine them for optimal effectiveness.
* Build and manage relationships across various teams to support tendering processes and business development.
Requirements
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data handling and Developer tools.
* Strong ability to interpret large volumes of information in different formats.
* Previous experience using Excel-based models in an estimating, financial, or data-driven role.
* Experience working in a fast-paced business environment.
* Ability to consolidate input from various sources to create effective business solutions.
* Strong relationship-building skills with a commercial mindset.
