Job Summary
About the role
Join our team that specializes in soil testing, waste classification, and arranging the removal of land materials, from clean to contaminated soils. We also source and supply a wide range of materials, including aggregates, topsoil, ready-mixed concrete, and tarmac.
As a Sales and Service Coordinator, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service. Whether your background is in an office, retail, or hospitality setting, if you excel in communication, problem-solving, and customer relations, this role is a great fit for you.
You will:
* Handle customer enquiries via phone and email, ensuring timely and professional responses.
* Process customer orders accurately and manage spend according to specific requirements.
* Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure smooth transactions.
* Take ownership of customer complaints and queries, investigating and resolving them promptly.
* Organise and prioritise your workload in a fast-paced environment.
* Generate quotations for products and services in line with KPIs and Service Level Agreements.
Key responsibilities
* Provide efficient and professional responses to customer requests in line with departmental KPIs.
* Accurately process customer purchase orders and track spending.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and industry trends to best support customers.
* Record and manage customer data and interactions using Salesforce.
* Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Essential skills and experience
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Grade C or above).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for tasks like data entry and filtering.
* Interest in a career within waste management or procurement.
* A full, valid UK driving licence is preferred. While the role is primarily based at our Doncaster office (DN9 3GA), occasional travel to our Telford office (TF3 3BD) may be required.
Additional information
* Hours: 42.5 per week, Monday to Friday (8am-5pm or 8:30am-5:30pm with half an hour for lunch and 2x 15 minute breaks).
* Location: Office-based in Doncaster (DN9 3GA), so you must live within a reasonable commuting distance.
* Job Title: Internally, this role is titled Sales and Service Coordinator, but is advertised as Customer Service Coordinator for clarity.
