System Administrator - London, £70k Basic

We're on the lookout for a reliable and skilled Systems Administrator to be a key player in our technology team. This team is the backbone of our globally roaming workforce, ensuring our on-premise services are secure, resilient, and always on.
Please note that this role is 5 days a week on site in Mayfair, reducing to 4 days after passing probation.
What You’ll Do:
* Microsoft Technologies Management: Manage and maintain Active Directory, DNS, IIS, Group Policy, Microsoft Certificate Services, SQL, and PowerShell. Oversee on-premise Exchange Servers with a focus on optimal performance and uptime.
* Virtualization and Storage Management: Administer VMware vSphere, vSAN, Horizon, Aria, and Cloud Foundation environments. Handle backup and recovery with Veeam Backup, Exagrid, and HPE.
* Security and Confidentiality: Drive our security initiatives, participating in penetration tests, and enhancing protocols to protect our data.Manage Proofpoint for email security and support business continuity strategies.
* Infrastructure Maintenance and Optimization: Keep our Dell server infrastructure in top shape with regular updates and maintenance. Implement best practices for system administration and infrastructure management.
* User Support and Collaboration: Deliver exceptional support to users, troubleshooting issues with empathy and professionalism. Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and procedures.
What You Bring:
* A degree in Computing or Engineering (desired), with formal certifications in Microsoft Server and VMware vSphere technologies.
* Experience: Extensive experience with the Microsoft technologies and on-premise Exchange Servers. Proven track record managing VMware environments and backup solutions like Veeam.
* Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Active Directory, DNS, IIS, and VMware administration.
* Proficiency in backup and storage technologies, with knowledge of Okta and RSA as a bonus.
