Join Ocado as our Finance Business Partner - Customer Fulfilment Centre Labour (CFC) & Operations

Are you ready to take the next step in your finance career with one of the UK's leading grocery platforms? Ocado is looking for a Finance Business Partner to manage P&L spend across CFC (Customer Fulfilment Centre), GMDC (General Merchandise Distribution Centre), and Zoom Labour. In this high-profile role, you’ll play a key part in driving financial insight, cost control, and decision-making across the logistics business.
As our Finance Business Partner you will:
* Manage Labour Costs: You will spend approximately 60% of your time managing labour costs and 40% partnering with General Managers at CFC to understand and control their costs.
* End-to-End P&L Management: Oversee the annual budget and forecast process, providing clear insight and commentary to senior leadership.
* Variance Analysis: Conduct month-end processes, interpret account postings, and present insightful variance analysis.
* Business Partnering: Lead reviews with CFC General Managers, helping to set targets, track risks, and drive actionable change.
* Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and financial controls to increase efficiency and ensure accurate cost recording.
* Leadership: Manage one direct report – a Finance Analyst.
* Maintain key relationships across finance teams including Payroll, Planning, and Analytics.
What you’ll need:
* Qualifications: CIMA, ACA, or ACCA qualified accountant.
* Experience in period management accounts, analysis, and commentary.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
* Strong business partnering skills.
* Attributes: Proactive, logical, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to challenge assumptions in a fast-paced environment.
