About Us
With the growth and success of our business, and in the changing working environment in which we are now operating, we need to ensure we continue to effectively manage our teams and deliver services to our clients. Mike Crowe indicating that he will retire in 2022 has required us to look at the functional structure, resulting in an expanded Consultancy Function that incorporates the current Consultancy and Actuarial & Investment Functions.
The operational and strategic management of the new function is of vital importance to the Business. Therefore, as part of the restructure, we have exciting opportunities for individuals with excellent management and organisational skills to take on a number of Deputy Function Head roles in order to support the Function Head.
These roles will require individuals to combine the management of a defined area within the new Function alongside their client work, with an anticipated 40/60% split. Ideally, we would like to make these appointments from within the Business. The defined areas will be Investment, Actuarial, Consultancy, and Irregular Schemes, with two positions in regard to Consultancy.
The roles will primarily be focused on the operational management of the Function – in line with the usual responsibilities of a Function Head. Except where this work currently forms part of an individual’s existing role, we do not envisage the roles to specifically include input into new business or service development or revenue generation activities unless to support from an operational perspective.
The roles are flexible on location; however, there is an expectation of regular attendance and visibility in the office, including offices other than individual’s ‘contractual’ location.
