Job Title: Locality Manager Head Office Location: Brindley Place, Birmingham Job Location: Chippenham Methuen Park Salary - £33.400- £41.800 (£750 Car Allowance) per annum Contract type - Permanent Working hours - Full Time Closing Date - 15 November 2024 Interview Date - TBC About the role You will be responsible for the delivery of locally focussed high quality, impactful tenancy management services to tenants within half of one of the four localities; leading a team of customer-facing Housing Officers across our General Needs Rented schemes. Your role will be to lead, enthuse and motivate field-based teams to deliver a locality-based tenancy management offer to customers. You will be responsible for customer-first tenancy management services including but not limited to: mutual exchanges, estate inspections, ASB, successions, tenancy fraud, and assignments. You will engage in their Locality Management Board structure; working collaboratively to achieve set targets for the benefit of the customers and communities within the locality they operate within. Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require a DBS check to be completed. Further details will be sent following offer. About you You will have strong housing legislation knowledge. You will have a Housing or related qualification. You will hold BTEC HND/HNC or equivalent ability or vocabulary, verbal reasoning and numerical skills to equivalent level. You must understand landlord legislation, including (but not limited to); succession, mutual exchange, assignments & ASB. You will be able to demonstrate experience of excellent customer service. You will have a minimum of 2 years direct line management experience, working in a customer-facing environment, including allocating resource.
