We are a newly refurbished skin centre that will enable collaborative working with plastic surgery colleagues.
Services available include day case surgery, (MOHS )micrographic surgery, paediatric dermatology, lymphoma, phototherapy, photodynamic therapy, drug monitoring / biologics clinic and patch testing. We have an active Day Treatment Unit, as well as Nurse Treatment clinics providing cryotherapy, intralesional steroid injections and iontophoresis. We have a team of Specialist Dermatology Outreach nurses, who supervise the care of dermatology in-patients and medical/ surgical patients who develop skin complaints on the acute wards. We have active academic meetings and there is SPA time to attend the RSM, St John’s Society meetings and the Oxford Regional meeting.
We pride ourselves in developing our team by offering support with CESR.
Main duties of the job
Applications are invited for a fulltime Dermatology Specialty Doctor at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. The post holder will join an established team of five consultants, specialty trust doctors, junior staff and specialist nurses with the aim of providing high quality and safe outpatient and inpatient care. The Department is therefore looking to appoint individuals who are enthusiastic, dynamic and committed in delivering services that reflect best clinical practice within the specialty of Dermatology. The applicant will need to have experience in diagnosing and managing all aspects of general dermatology. The Dermatology Department is based at Amersham Hospital.

11. Allergy or Immunology related qualifications
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND PERSONAL

EXPERIENCE
