Purchasing Manager – Leeds – Salary circa £40,000 Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering with a Multi-Award Winning business in Leeds who are looking to recruit a Purchasing Manager to join their team.This newly created key role will see you managing a small purchasing team and you will help drive cost savings and efficiencies within the supply chain whilst maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. Benefits: • Up to 20% bonus• Private healthcare• 23 Days annual leave plus bank holidays and your birthday off• Company pension• Free on-site parking Purchasing Manager Duties: • Develop and sustain strong, long-term partnerships with suppliers• Evaluate spending and profit margins across multiple categories, leveraging relationship management skills to negotiate cost-effective deals that meet quality standards• Oversee daily purchasing operations, ensuring profitable procurement for both stock and non-stock sales orders• Analyse market trends, forecast demand, and proactively mitigate risks to enhance procurement efficiency• Establish and maintain an approved supplier database, objectively measuring performance against OTIF and quality benchmarks• Ensure compliance with import and export regulations• Identify and implement enhancements to purchasing systems and processes• Lead and manage the Purchasing Team, conducting regular one-on-one meetings and driving team development Hours: Full time Monday – Friday Required skills & experience: • Purchasing Experience in similar roles (3 years)• Inventory and Supply Chain Management knowledge • Strong negotiation skills• Ability to lead a small team If you would like to discuss this Purchasing Manager role in more detail, then do get in touch with Lewis at Elevation Recruitment Group now
